In addition to brush cassettes, we also offer brush cores for various types of sweeping machines for snow removal. The brush core, made of durable aluminum, is fully developed by our RD team to ensure the combined effect with our brush cassettes. Use the brush core in combination with the synthetic brush cassettes or the brush cassettes with steel wires. When using our brush core in combination with our brush cassettes, we offer a 5-year warranty on the core.
We offer cores up to a length of 6.5 meters, approx. 21 ft., which are suitable for all types of machines. The brush diameters vary from 36 inches to 46 inches. The brush core is dynamically balanced according to VDI standard.
Looking for specific brush cores? Simply place a specific request and our sales team will contact you as soon as possible.

The width of the swept surface is the sweep pattern. Literally from the moment that the brush threads
make contact with the surface. The sweep pattern also depends on the type of machine used and the
kind of snowfall. Normally, a sweep pattern of 70mm generates an effective and efficient sweep result.
Use of high-grade materials ensures that the KOTI brushes have an extended life span, an absolute
key benefit. Other qualities, like the right optimisation of velocity, rotational speed of the brush core
and brush diameter (tip speed) are also contributory factors. When these basic values are set correctly,
the brushes produce an optimum sweep effect and less friction, wear and tear. Conditions that are
crucial for extended continuing use and higher yield.
A machine uses a brush roller with 16 tracks and a brush diameter of 36 inches fitted with new brush
cassettes. The machine is drives 25 km/h and rotates at 400 RPM. In order for a machine with
deteriorated threads – driving at the same speed – to have the same results, the RPM has to go up.
Deteriorate during the sweeping process, a brush roller at the same driving speed must increase the rpm
to maintain the tip speed and guarantee the effectiveness of the sweeping.
