Service and maintenance technician
Your day as a service and maintenance engineer starts with a cup of coffee, followed by an inventory of planned tasks. Then, with a good dose of enthusiasm, you get straight to work. In the course of the day, some unplanned tasks will come your way. For example, you solve unexpected malfunctions and assist with production problems. After lunch you continue with setting up robots. Finally, you end the day by making self-devised changes to one of our newest machines. At KOTI, every day is different. That’s what makes the job so much fun. Your responsibilities
- You enjoy working independently to locate and resolve daily malfunctions in the control, mechanical and electrical fields
- You are also energized by locating and troubleshooting production-related malfunctions
- You perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to daily schedule
- You take the initiative to propose changes to maintenance plans
- You get excited about building, self-engineering and modifying our own machines, both mechanically and electrically
- You think proactively about solutions and advice for our technical projects
In these points you recognize yourself
- You have completed a technical education (preferably Mechatronics) (at least MBO level 3)
- Experience with 3D engineering software (HiCad, SolidWorks, Inventor or SolidEdge) is a plus, but our experienced engineers are ready to teach you the finer points of the trade
- Reading drawings and E-schematics is a plus
- You are open to honing your technical knowledge of PLC technology and simple turning and milling work
- As a true techie, you have an affinity for robots and engineering
- You can work both independently and as part of a team and have good communication skills
- You are handy, flexible, proactive and customer-oriented
- You master the Dutch language in word and writing. English and German is an advantage
