Refurbishing your brush roller saves both materials and costs. Since a core construction can be an expensive component of the brush, it is always advisable to check whether your brush roller is suitable for reuse. Our technical experts have all the knowledge required to assess whether your KOTI brush roller can be fitted with new filling. After all, we develop and manufacture the original brushes entirely in‑house.
Benefits of refurbishing your brush roller
By equipping worn brushes with new fibres, the core can be reused. This approach offers both economic and ecological benefits: you waste less material and reduce costs. In addition, we take care of the entire process for you, if agreed, all you need to do is send the core to KOTI.
Step 1: Once the filling material of your KOTI brush reaches its wear limit, you can return the worn brush, securely packaged, to KOTI.
Step 2: We inspect the entire core construction for any defects, check tolerances and any bearings, and remove the old filling.
Step 3: Once the core construction has been approved, the brush is re‑filled with new fibres. This process is carried out in our specialised factory.
Step 4: You will receive the same core back with new filling materials. In this way, we extend the lifespan of your brush and together reduce our ecological footprint.
Important: Please ensure that the brush roller is properly and securely packaged before sending it to us. A sturdy and protective packaging prevents transport damage and enables us to carry out an accurate assessment.

Recycling of materials
An important part of our sustainability policy is promoting recycling. Since 2012, we have been grinding part of our residual materials, including returned brushes and production waste. These materials are reused in the manufacturing of new components. Any surplus material is additionally applied in other industries.
Emissions Reduction
KOTI strives for minimal environmental impact and focuses on reducing emissions. We invest in energy‑efficient production methods and continuously look for opportunities to lower our energy consumption. Our truck runs on renewable biofuel, and all our vehicles are hybrid or electrically powered.
Power generation through solar panels
As part of our sustainability efforts, we have invested in solar energy. A portion of our facilities is powered by clean, renewable energy from solar panels. Five days a week we use the power generated for our own needs, while on weekends excess power is fed back into the grid.
Research and development
Innovation is at the heart of our sustainability approach. Our research and development team is constantly exploring new methods and materials to make our products more sustainable. We work closely with industry experts and participate in initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of industries. For example, upon request, we use biodegradable fibers made from poly lactic acid (PLA).
